Agent Spotlight…
What did you do before real estate and how did you get started in the business?
Prior to Real Estate, I was a Wedding and Event Planner for over ten years. Long story short, I had a few major life changes including the loss of my mother and father in a short period of time. I decided that life was too short not to do exactly what I wanted to do, so I secretly obtained my Real Estate license, and I can say without a doubt that it was the best professional decision that I’ve ever made.
What are some of your favorite local hobbies, activities or organizations that you participate in?
When I'm not working, you will most likely find me at home with my family, or at Earl Thieneman Garden Center. My husband and I love to work in the garden and on our 200 year old home. I also love to cook and entertain my family and friends. I start everyday with some sort of exercise. A few of my favorites are; CycleBar Middletown, Mpower 6 gym, YogaSix, and The Barre Code. I also serve at "UP Louisville" on Friday mornings. Friday's tend to be my favorite day of the week for this purpose alone. UP is the only day shelter in Louisville for homeless women and children. I absolutely LOVE this organization!
What do you love most about where you live and work?
What I love most at Lenihan Sothebys is that we're a small firm. This has allowed us agents/employees to develop real friendships and my coworkers are like family to me. It's a special place to work because of the relationships within these walls.
What are three sources of joy in your week?
My husband Tony, my three children, and my three yorkies and two cats.
