Paristown Halloween Festival Parade
Where: Paristown (parade begins at the intersection of Baxter Ave & Broadway)
Admission: Free
What: The Parade will march down Broadway towards Barret Avenue and then take a right on Barrett Avenue towards Lexington

Halloween Balloon Glow
Where: Lynn Family Stadium
Admission: $15 per person. Kids ages 2 and under are free.
What: The Halloween Balloon Glow at Lynn Family Stadium will feature hot air balloon trick-or-treating from 6-10 p.m. Ten hot air balloons will be on site, with two of them offering tethered rides for an additional fee. There will also be a balloon set up for a commemorative family photo in front of the stadium. Costumes are encouraged, and candy bags will be provided to trick-or-treat at each balloon and other stations throughout the property.

Captains Quarters Pumpkin Fest
Where: Captains Quarters Riverside Grille
Admission: Free (donations appreciated)
What: An event to raise money & awareness for Twisted Pink & Hope Scarves - two local organizations that support research in Metastatic Breast Cancer. Come out for live music, shopping, face painting, and launch a pumpkin in to the river!

Victorian Ghost Walk

What: David Dominé’s Victorian Ghost Walk ® celebrates America’s Most Haunted Neighborhood with a cast of real-life characters who return from the grave to tell their stories. Simon Kracht, the infamous resurrectionist who stole just-buried corpses for the city medical college; millionaire Alfred Victor DuPont, who died at the hands of a scorned mistress; Lucinda, the grief-stricken lunatic who proclaimed herself “Queen of America” in 1885 – these are just some of the ghosts waiting to entertain you this year.

Louisville Jack O'Lantern Spectacular
Where: Iroquois Park

What: Presented each October along a winding path through the majestic woods of Iroquois Park, guests are treated to an organic art gallery of more than 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins in themed settings. This family-friendly event has become an annual tradition for thousands, who come back each year to experience a variety of themed vignettes, set to music.

What: The event, part of a eight-city tour, will feature small bites from dozens of local restaurants, including Ciao Ristorante, I Love Tacos and Louvino.

Louisville Taco Festival

What: All food-related items will work on a voucher system with stations located throughout the festival grounds. Purchase your taco vouchers ($4 a voucher sold in sheets of 5 for $20) at any of the stations and then simply exchange them for Tacos, Elotes, Nacho’s, and all food-related menu items! All vendors will offer at least two items on their menu for one voucher ($4) with a very select few offering some high-end fancy pants tacos (Crab, Lobster etc) and burritos for two vouchers ($8).

Bowman Fest
Where: Bowman Field
Admission: Free admission for Veterans, $20 per person - or - $50 for family four pack
$15, Seniors or 15 and under.
What: Come out and watch first class pilots and planes do aerobatic maneuvers in our CAT3 airbox with thrilling maneuvers, smoke and excitement. Get up close and walk through a C130 military plane. Enjoy the sites of historic planes on display, War birds, military planes, vehicles, helicopters and a vintage car show. Rides will be available in various planes and helicopters for an additional purchase.

St. James Court Art Show
Where: Historic Old Louisville
Admission: Free (no pets allowed)
What: The St. James Court Art Show is a juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show featuring over 600 artists from around the U.S. held among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes in the heart of historic Old Louisville.
