Agent Spotlight…

with Shelly Bringardner

A new series highlighting our agents and all they do for the firm.

What did you do before real estate and how did you get started in the business?

In college, I obtained my real estate license and was hired after graduation to work in the Marketing Department at Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty. I am now partnered with Terri Bass, one of the top agents at LSIR and in all of Louisville.

What is something your clients find comfort in that makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?

I am born and raised in Louisville, and have built my personal life and professional career in this city. So you could say I am a local expert on everything from real estate and trendy hotspots to foodie favorites and hidden neighborhood gems. I would say my clients love my work ethic and dedication. I offer hands-on service that extends beyond the closing table . I am a true advocate for my clients and have an acute eye for value and design making sure they have the tools and understanding to buy well and sell for the most money possible. I also have a list of preferred vendors to assist with any projects they have in mind.

What are some of your favorite local hobbies, activities or organizations that you participate in?

I am passionate about our city and am involved in several organizations Gilda's Club of Kentuckiana, my alma maters - Sacred Heart Academy and Holy Trinity Parish School, Blessings in a backpack and Family Scholar House. On the weekends, I enjoy being with friends and family and either trying a new restaurant or going to one of our favorites.

What do you love most about where you live and work?

I believe Louisville is the absolute best place to raise a family - affordable cost of living, close to everything, and while it is a nice sized city Louisville feels like a small town.

What are three sources of joy in your week?

My son Henry, nightly walks with our dog Teddy, and dinner with my husband.
