What’s Happening at Churchill- June

Derby time may have ended in Louisville, but the horse racing season is still in full swing. If you need to entertain your kids, out-of-town guests, or need an excuse for a date night, Churchill Downs is full of activities all month long.

Twilight Thursday

Twilight Thursday racing will be happening every Thursday of the month. Racing begins at 5:00 pm and you can enjoy $1 Blue Moon drafts and select domestic beers as well as live music and food trucks.

Family Adventure Day Brunch - June 5, 2022

Live racing and betting for you, inflatables, a petting zoo, stick horse races, and face painting for the little ones! This family friendly day at the track begins at 11:30 am.

Downs after Dark- June 18, 2022

The perfect spot to take your out of town guests or get away for a date night on a Saturday. Guests can enjoy racing under the bright lights, live music and entertainment all night long. Gates open at 5:00 pm and races begin at 6:00 pm and run all night long.

Father’s Day at the Track

Bring your father to his favorite Louisville location for an afternoon of dining, betting, and thoroughbred racing. Gates open at 11:30 am.
