Agent Spotlight

with Beth Schilling

Highlighting our agents and all they do for the firm

What did you do before real estate and how did you get started in the business?

I was a corporate salesperson for the largest travel agency in town. An friend who was a realtor told me she thought I would be good at selling real estate.

What is something your clients find comfort in that makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?

Initially my ability to listen and hear exactly what their wants and needs are in a home for their family. My decades of experience and knowledge of the market assures my clients that we will succeed in our current unprecedented competitive market.

What are some of your favorite local hobbies, activities or organizations that you participate in?

Being on the Board for Norton Commons YMCA gives me the opportunity to raise money for their many wonderful programs that provide an array of assistance to help some of the most at risk members of our community. My sanity saver is exercising and outdoors if at all possible. This includes biking on the back roads of Oldham County or at our amazing Beckley Park or crossing the river on our new east end bridge to ride along the river in Indiana.

What do you love most about where you live and work?

As a realtor I often find myself being an ambassador for Louisville which is easy because Louisville has many benefits you find in a much larger city without the negative aspects big cities are known for. I love our city! What I love most about where I work is that my colleagues are all professional, successful and hard working. When the opportunity presents itself for us to socializing together everyone sincerely enjoys each others company. We have an amazing support staff that has all the same traits.

What are three sources of joy in your week?

Helping someone in need, happy clients and any time spent with friends and family!
